JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Production Engineer at Moleculent, you will play a crucial role within our Operations team. You will work closely with our R&D experts to fully understand product specifications and requirements. Your main responsibility will be to complete the production transfer of our innovative analysis instrument and flow cell and support ongoing production and manufacturing scale-up through your technical insight. You will leverage your expertise to ensure product quality and reliability by establishing robust production processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the R&D team to successfully complete the production transfer of the instrument and flow cell (optics, fluidics, electronics, mechanics).
- Secure the necessary tools, equipment, and materials to efficiently support the production process.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of production procedures, instructions, and standards.
- Identify and resolve potential issues or challenges that arise during production.
- Take responsibility for assembly and testing of initial instruments and flow cells, and train additional team members as the team grows.
QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for this role, you should hold a university degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering. You also need at least three years of proven experience as a production engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
Skills that will strengthen your profile include:
- Experience with embedded systems involving electronics, mechanics, and software – ideally with exposure to analytical systems incorporating fluidics and optics.
- Understanding of quality standards and regulations such as ISO 9001.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
